GNM Admission Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to the 3-Year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma program must satisfy the following minimum eligibility criteria as laid down by the Indian Nursing Council (INC):
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) class in any stream (Science/Arts/Commerce) from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in 10+2 examinations. English must be a compulsory subject.
Age Limit: The minimum age for admission is 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
Medical Fitness: The candidate must be medically fit. A fitness certificate signed by a registered medical practitioner is mandatory at the time of counseling.
